The docu-series directed by John Forté features stories of individuals whose health has significantly improved from the use of cannabis and cannabinoid-infused products
DENVER – Jan. 24, 2018 – Mary’s Medicinals, in collaboration with Mary’s Nutritionals (Mary’s), today released its newest ‘Mary’s Chimes’ mini-documentary featuring 85-year-old Peggy Trimble’s battle with vascular dementia and journey to better health after introducing Mary’s Remedy Oil, a hemp-infused sublingual tincture, into her treatment regimen. Peggy’s Chime is the third in the docu-series and can be watched here: http://bit.ly/PeggyChime
In 2016, Peggy was diagnosed with a virus which developed into double pneumonia and E. coli. Her brain was inflamed and it was at this time that she was diagnosed with vascular dementia. Peggy’s daughter, Helen, began to search for ways to improve her mother’s quality of life. A friend recommended Mary’s Nutritionals Remedy Oil, and after taking it for three weeks, the Trimble family has reported a drastic improvement in Peggy’s cognitive, gross and fine motor skill s as well as an increase in appetite and less agitation.
The close relationship with Mary’s began after Peggy’s daughter Helen posted before and after videos on Facebook in November 2017 which went viral, receiving 300,000+ views, 5,000+ shares, 1,300+ likes and hundreds of comments within just a few days. Mary’s CEO Lynn Honderd connected with the Trimbles to discuss Peggy’s remarkable improvement and the Chimes project.
“Hemp-infused products seem to be being accepted by the public and medical communities more and more, so I felt it was a safe, viable option to explore in supplementing my mother’s treatment plan,” said Helen. “After extensive research, I started giving my mother Mary’s Nutritionals Remedy Oil on a daily basis. Within weeks, she was talking, walking with a walker and is now back to her wisecracking self. The ‘Mary’s Chimes’ project is immensely important to me, as it inspires hope and builds awareness by chronicling real-life emotional struggles of patients and how they have embraced Mary’s products as an efficacious alternative.”
The ‘Mary’s Chimes’ docu-series features individuals who have treated severe medical ailments using cannabinoid-infused products such as Mary’s, and is being directed and scored by Grammy-nominated recording artist, filmmaker, and activist John Forté.
“So far, I’ve encountered some fascinating folks during this journey of ‘Mary’s Chimes’ and Peggy does not disappoint!” said Forté. “I felt equal parts intrigue and good fortune to be in Peggy’s presence. I’m hopeful that people will find inspiration and joy from Peggy and Helen’s testimony. That being said, if you’ve got a little more time on your hands, I’d encourage everyone to watch the extended cut!”
